Anika is suffering from a cold, which means things are even more dramatic and melt-down-prone than usual (which, with an almost four-year-old, is a lot to begin with, and let's not forget that her 2 year-old brother throws his own fair number of tantrums just for fun).
Must be tough to be a kid.
They're lucky that they go from scratching/hair-pulling/throwing/pushing/screeching to "Reni, you're my best friend, let me teach you how to blow bubbles!" in a New York minute.

And yes, they both suddenly need a) a haircut; and b) new shoes. These kids are growing from tip-top to toes -- literally!
