"It's a scientific fact!"

We have an almost-four year-old who thinks she is ten or twelve, evidently, because today as I'm explaining something to her, she rolled her eyes, sighed, and interrupted me with that all-too-karmic, "I KNOOOOOOOW, mom!"(that intonation may or may not be hauntingly familiar to my own mom) followed quickly, after my, 'oh, really?' response, with this gem:

"I know everything, mama."

All matter-of-fact and stuff.

Ok, kiddo, ok. It is a scientific fact that daughters know more than their moms. Just ask grandma.
