At 28 weeks pregnant, you can be forgiven for starting to feel like a whale. At least that's what I tell myself when I am literally waddling from place to place (which, I just realized, whales do not do. They are quite graceful, actually. So I'm more like a really really fat penguin). We have just under (or just over, depending on how long this little guy decides to bake in there) three months to go, during which time we really need to do things like, oh, get a double stroller, find a place to put the crib and his clothes, pick out some names, that sort of thing. Little stuff, really. We are letting him do the big stuff, like develop into a semi-self-sustaining human being and learn how to breathe air and digest something other than amniotic fluid.
Here are two photos of the little man, from our angle and from his:
He looks remarkably similar to his big sister, so I have a feeling our little ones are going to be like bookends.
And because my other baby -- now officially a toddler!! -- actually took a small nap today, I had to take a photo to commemorate the occasion. Plus, she looked so adorable. Even though her finger seems to have a mind of its own:
And look! She's finally starting to get some hair!!

This might be my favorite picture of Anika. So angelic, until you see the little finger. Perfect!
