Mama mia!

Armando had a craving for homemade pasta, so off to Williams Sonoma we went, where we turned down the expensive add-to-the-cuisinart-contraption and instead purchased this old-world machine that had Anika instantly interested.

Plus, anything her daddy does is instantly cooler than the coolest thing you can imagine, and she must, must, absolutely MUST be a part of it.

Here are my two peas-in-a-pod making homemade pasta. The resulting carbonara was absolutely delizioso.

(by the end there, Ani was getting mighty impatient to try whatever it was daddy was making. Patience is one of those virtues that she does not in any way possess. Hmmm, didn't get that from me!)

Incidentally, today is our second wedding anniversary, and the only reason I'm updating this blog is because Mando is out getting me and the baby some Indian food (and himself some more Americanized fast-food stuff, as his tummy has been a bit sensitive of late and his doctor wants him on a bland diet. Something my samosas and saag paneer are lacking, thankfully for my taste buds).

Mom and dad surprised us with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Thanks to the best example of a quality marriage that a girl and guy could ask for!
