Pool Cool

I am starting to see why Anika thinks daddy is so cool. He goes shopping and comes home with a pool. Mama just gets cleaning supplies and sometimes tasty snacks that she can only have a few of because we have to save room for lunch.

Saturday was so beautiful that we spent most of the day outside, although today quickly turned back to wind season (hello, spring and your capricious ways) and it's still whistling like a train out there. Anika got so tuckered out yesterday, what with playing in the pool and then playing in the sand and running through the sprinklers and playing in the mud and throwing rocks and sliding down her little slide that she actually needed a bit of a break today.
