Anika is going to be an architect.

At least, that would be our latest prediction, based on the fact that we are constantly tripping over her 'houses,' 'magic shows,' 'play grounds,' and 'club houses' that she is building with increasingly elaborate configurations. There are now trap doors, hide-and-seek areas, multiple levels....she happily skips around looking for building materials and carefully constructs each one. Inside, outside, in closets, on top of tables...it's all game. Her work is usually left up for a day or two, during which time she and Reni play in them and picnic there and fill them with nearly every toy in their respective rooms. Reni seems to enjoy playing along and being her sidekick - for now. Just waiting for the WWIII that will ensue when he decides to take up a bit of demolition work.

Reni's going to rock it out in a boy band or solo, Adam Levine-style.

I'm currently going mad listening to Adele's "Rumour Has It" for the thirteenkazillionth time. He will proclaim "I love that song!" in the middle of just about anything, and start singing, "OOoooo-ooh, oooooo-ooh,"even when it's not playing on iTunes repeat. Prior to this obsession, he would sing along to just about any song in the car - Adam Levine hits being amongst his favorites - and he usually sings himself to sleep too, made-up medleys mixing his favorites with some new ones he learned in school. He got a play microphone for his birthday, and it's often in his hand, him singing along and bobbing his head and jumping up and down.
