21 pounds!

Our Reni is over 20 pounds (21, to be exact), which is a weight Anika didn't reach until a few months ago. He loves to eat so much that he is already trying to feed himself. Sippy cup he's got down like a pro; the rest is quite a mess. He can make a piece of bread disappear in under a minute but he wrestles with the spoon for what seems like hours. At least it must feel good to chew on, sans food or not.

Also, if you're wondering why there are so many photos of Reni, it's because he's rather easy to photograph at the moment. Anika? Not so much. Unless it's the iPad and she can see herself. Here is one I attempted because she wanted me to take HER picture eating a piece of bread TOO, darnit!

Also, Reni is obsessed with this toy:

He bangs the plastic balls together, puts them down the ramp or in the elephant's ears, places them into and takes them out of the hippo's tummy, and chews on them. I can put him there, go get dressed, get Anika dressed, and he's usually still there playing. It is awesome. One bonus to the fact that he's not crawling yet!
