Snot exactly the way we planned it, but we're having a blast, no thanks to Mr. Cold

Aunt Sarah has been here for a visit, and while it has been lovely to have her here, the majority of the time we've been dueling with our unwanted guest who packed himself with her luggage:  the cold bug.  He hit Sarah pretty badly and then happily made Anika his new host.  Fast forward a few days later, and fevers are now gone and we are all on the mend (miraculously, I'm still relatively unscathed -- please knock on wood as you read this), but we're still fighting with his baggage, which he so nicely left behind.  Oh, if only there were a viable use for human mucus, like as a biofuel or something, we could power all of Albuquerque at this rate.  Anika sounds like a dragon snorting in her sleep, and is constantly gasping for air and wiping fluids off of her face.  Awesome, right?  I could go on, but in the interest of keeping you as a reader, I'll stop right here.

Here are my girls this morning, enjoying the view of the hot air balloons:

And here is Anika's morning face:
Just like her daddy, I might add.

We will post some of Sarah's pictures (my camera is in China at the moment) once we get them loaded onto my computer.
