Puppy Lovey

This kid is right on schedule developmentally-wise, because the very same day Baby Center informed me that some kids become attached to a toy -- what they cutely termed a 'lovey' -- after the 6-month mark, Anika decided that her new favorite companion was a Harrods puppy that Armando's brother had brought back from a recent trip to London.

I saw it coming, because she lunged for this puppy the second I had her room set up and she spied it on the storage trunk next to her crib.  She'd never paid it any mind or matter before then, but it has swiftly become her going-to-bed toy.

Mine was called Brown Bear, so in that same unimaginative yet descriptive vein, we have anointed him Puppy.
