...and one more, for the middle child

Reni learned to ride without training wheels when Grandma and Grandpa were visiting the first week of December, and here is an adorable video of him showing me his new skill (watch for the tongue action - Reni's sign of concentration).

This kid was so. proud. And so excited. It was an unusually cool evening and he did not want to come inside. And apparently I dropped the ball on this learning to ride without training wheels thing, because Grandpa said that it took about five minutes from removing the wheels to Reni riding on his own. Guess he was ready! Of course, he's not totally psyched by his little antagonistic side-kick, who likes to position his tricycle right in front, and guys, just try to imagine shepherding one tricycling maniac, one wobbly two-wheeler, and a crazy fast bicyclist through the neighborhood. Yeah, I get a headache just thinking about it, too, which is why I haven't been brave enough to take them all out on the open road just yet. But look at how adorable Reni is!
