T-Rex, teeth, plants, and inappropriate Easter balloon animals

So much has happened since my last blog post, but before officially announcing the big changes coming to vida Morillo, a few memories of the kids to record for posterity:

Roman, going out for walks after dinner, now likes to take along his big plastic dinosaur. T-Rex, which he walks along the sidewalk with him, crouching down and making big "RAWWWWRRR" noises. T-Rex enjoyed some yogurt for breakfast this morning, and is now observing a rousing game of throw the rubber ducks off the balcony with Roman.

Anika's Spanish is improving so much that her teacher said her accent is better than kids who have been in the program for the full two years and who speak more Spanish at home. Ani now likes to say that she is a good dancer, and good at the monkey bars, but mostly she is good at languages. I adore that confidence. Last night, she bounced up from snuggling her entourage of stuffed toys and dolls to announce, "guess what, mama? They did an experiment with plants, where one plant they told was beautiful and nice and the other plant they screamed at, and guess what happened? The plant they were nice to grew big and strong, and the other plant didn't. Plants have FEELINGS, mama!!!" She wanted to replicate the experiment at home, and decided she would be the one to do all the screaming.

Meanwhile, a few nights ago, Reni decided that instead of doing homework he would listen to that once-ubiquitous song "Gangnam Style" and copy the Korean letters. He spelled out the entire song and the album name in Korean and then came to show us, announcing that he had made up a new language that they only spoke in Korea.

I dunno, it looks legit to me:

He also lost his first tooth a few weeks ago (? is it terrible that I can't recall which day, exactly?!)

And here is the gang at the complex's Easter party. This is the best photo I could get, as there was a magician and cotton candy and chocolate egg surprises and mama taking our photo was about number ten million on the list of things they wanted to do. Also, how inappropriate are those "balloon animals"?
