Renecdote one: A few days ago, Armando brought me the baby and said, 'look at this.' I had stripped him down to a diaper for his bath before he high-tailed it to Reni's room (he's started crawling with one knee up, so he can push off of his toes and go faster, and he makes this slap slap sound on the porcelain floor tiles) and his back and much of his head was covered in orange. Turns out Roman had been standing at the train table, holding a marker and scribbling on the paper with it, while Reni covered his little brother's back and scalp in (thank goodness it's washable) orange marker.
Renecdote two: tonight at bedtime, Reni wanted to cuddle his new ball. He fell asleep with it in his hands, his head cradled by another ball, his teddy bears relegated to the space next to the wall.
