It doesn't seem possible that our little wide-eyed snowstorm baby is now a whirlwind of giggles and tiptoes and marker-stained fingertips. She wiggled with pride and awe and snuggled in even closer when I told her that her birthday is extra special because it's HER birth that made me a mommy, and that I couldn't be more proud of her or lucky to be her mom.
She is an incredibly complex girl, all intelligence and artistic intuition and perseverance wrapped in energy and joy. She has a unique balance of confidence and kindness, impishness and generosity of spirit, and even though she may be growing up a *wee* bit too fast for this emotional mama, she couldn't be more excited about growing bigger and older and more independent.
Happy birthday, my superhero princess. We love you so so so so SO MUCH.
