Zoo friends and superhero royals

We picked up some friends at the zoo the other day. Mr. Frog, Sally, and Mander.

Here they are, with their zoo-worthy owners:

Anika loves Mr. Frog because he is pose able, and can hang like a gymnast pretty much anywhere in the house. Poor guy is now suckered into playhouse construction on a daily basis. As for Sally and Mander, Reni would not leave the store with just one, even though I initially only paid for one and left the store thinking he would forget that he picked out two toy salamanders. Uh-uh. This guy said, indigently, "where's the other one?" after we paid and left, and cried because "I need two mama!" So now we have a pair, and whenever they are misplaced around the house (read: often), he asks, cutely, "where's Sally and Mander?"

Here are my princess and prince superheros playing outside the other day. Anika is balancing duct tape on her head (princess training, she informed me), and Reni is flying so he can "save the day!"
