It's ours!!
Anika and I drove by on our way back from the zoo this afternoon, and I had to resist the urge to pull into the driveway.
We didn't take any photos on the day of the inspection, but here is our sole photo of the house until the 15th when we take possession of the keys and get to actually pull into the garage:
Can you see the Sandia mountains in the background? Ah, lovely. I cannot wait to sit in that yard with a mojito and let the past four months of chaos melt away.
Also, here is a brief summary of our trip to the zoo this afternoon, which no doubt marks the first of many:
Miss Anika, hanging out in her stroller
The polar bears, one of whom was playing with a ball and entertaining the largest audience outside of the picnic areas (it was nap time for 99% of the animals, altho unfortunately Anika didn't get the memo)
And, finally, the flamingos, which were the only animal that Anika seemed to notice (no doubt because they're sporting the color that she is forced to wear day in and day out)
