Argh. It is snowing again. What started out yesterday as a sunny day quickly turned to rain, then small pellets of hail, then full-on snow that will continue throughout today and result in as much as 18 inches. Apparently this confounded the weather forecasters (no surprise there), as they predicted nothing more than a bit of icy rain as recently as yesterday morning.
This is ridiculous. We're done with winter already. And we are supposed to go to a portrait studio 20 minutes away to get Anika's three-month pictures taken this afternoon. (Which, incidentally, were rescheduled from last Friday because of the snow that day.) She's psyched about the modeling gig and we've already picked out the outfits. But instead we're snowed in. You've got to be kidding me. Thanks, Colorado. Thanks a lot.
Never thought I'd live the day to say this, but when Anika and I arrive in Wisconsin on Friday night, we'll actually find ourselves in a warmer climate than whence we came.
Perhaps, though our last day of nice weather is supposed to be today. Then again, they predicted cold and snow last weekend, and all we had was sun and relatively nice temperatures. Perhaps we'll be lucky again.
