Post-doctor appointment, she was in such a good mood (!! we don't expect that result to last) that we had a little photo shoot session. I'm happy to report that we have now captured her smiles on camera. Say cheese!

Say cheese!
We had Anika's one-month doctor's appointment this morning, where we discovered that a) she likes to smile and coo at new people in her line of vision, and she gets a very funny expression on her face when the cold stethoscope is on her little barrel chest; b) it is not my imagination that she is getting heavy to lug around, as she is now weighing in at an impressive 11 pounds - that's 2 pounds in as many weeks! She also grew another half-inch in length, rendering most of her size three-month outfits useless. (Good thing I went a little gaga on the shopping); and c) she is already drawing the attention of boys, as a little 15 month-old cutie kept approaching us with wide eyes and big smiles....and Anika coo'd back. It was adorable.

BEAUTIFUL! Seriously heart-melting. She looks shockingly like Sofia at 1 month, and even in the same outfit. Really!
